Magic: The Gathering reveals new details about Fallout, Assassin’s Creed, Modern Horizons 3, Bloomburrow and Thundercrossing Outlaws. These are the launches from March to August 2024.
Wizards of the Coast was present at MagicCon: Chicago, showing off new cards, art and details about upcoming sets for Magic: The Gathering, the world’s most popular board game.
Thousands of fans and players flocked to the McCormick Place Lakeside Center in Chicago to enjoy a magical night of news for all tastes.

Fans gathered at special panels where information was revealed on upcoming collections, including Thunder Cross Rules, Assassin’s Creed, Modern Horizons 3 and a first look at Blueburrow.

Fallout (released March 8, 2024)
Magic: The Gathering – Fall focuses on the Commander format, with 4 pre-built decks. Each deck list includes items from all Fallout games from 1997 to Fallout ’76. This collection represents the first modern on some classic Fallout games, character and setting updates Fallout and Fallout 2, where we pay this fast-paced post-nuclear role-playing game root; Whether you choose to play alongside some of Fallout’s most famous characters or as a Vault survivor battling invaders, super mutants, radioactive monsters and robots, life in the wasteland won’t be easy!

Thundercrossing Outlaws (Releasing April 19, 2024)
Thunder Cross is Magic’s most advanced collection of outdoor, western-themed worlds for Magic fans to experience a frontier fantasy game and an action-packed heist story featuring the return of one of the fan-favorite characters, Oko. It will be a collection with its own game packs, packs, collector packs and commander classes.
Modern Horizons 3 (Releasing June 14, 2024)
Modern Horizons will return in 2024 with Modern Horizons 3. Magic players have always loved Modern Horizons sets for their award-winning abstract shapes and the nostalgic memories they evoke. Players can expect all that and more with fan-favorite characters, exciting spins on favorite mechanics, and new double-faced Planeswalker cards. Magic Con in Amsterdam will be a big star.
Assassin’s Creed (Releasing July 5, 2024)
In partnership with Ubisoft, Beyond the Multiverse, Assassin’s Creed brings epic and epic adventures to Magic: The Gathering. The Assassin’s Creed® Collection includes most of the Assassin’s Creed® games released to date, reprinted with cards with unique mechanics and new artwork. Few details are known at this time, but it will likely be pre-built Commander Decks and Collector boosters.
Bloomburrow (released August 2, 2024)
Magic fans can enter the Blueburrow, a charming yet welcoming new world of magic that never includes humans, but instead a group of brave, adventurous anthropomorphic animal friends such as squirrels, frogs, mice and rabbits must join together.
