DC Studios has hired the first director to be part of the Lanterns series

DC Studios Finds Director for Green Lantern Show
According to The Hollywood Reporter, James Hawes was chosen to direct the first two episodes of the series. Hawes is known for his work in the world of television, including hits such as Terrible Penny, The fog, The alienist, Snowpiercer, Black mirroramong others. The director recently worked on some episodes of Slow horsesa program of AppleTV+ hero Gary Oldmann.
The creative team of the DC Studios project consists of Chris Mundy (Ozark), Damon Lindelof (Watchmen) and famed comic book writer Tom King. Mundy will also serve as showrunner for the series. Production is expected to begin in early 2025.
