Coming to theaters this month, Strange darling is a harrowing tale of survival in which a demented serial killer pursues a terrified woman who he hopes will become his next victim. The film will be released on August 23 following a special Strange darling: Early Access Event with Live Q&A on August 14.
Ahead of the film’s release, CBR can reveal an exclusive clip and poster for Strange darling. Our clip picks up in the middle of the cat-and-mouse story with Willa Fitzgerald playing a potential victim of a sadistic murderer played by Kyle Gallner. As the killer searches for her through the forest, she does her best to remain silent, knowing that even the slightest sound could give away his hiding place. It doesn’t help that she’s injured and has to nurse her wound in silence, making the moment even more tense. The full clip and new poster are available below.

Written and directed by JT Mollner (Outlaws and Angels), the film is produced by Bill Block, Roy Lee, Steven Schneider, Giovanni Ribisi and Chris Ivan Cevic.
