Kurt Russell won’t rule out a return as Jack Burton.

In an interview with ComicBook.com, Russell was asked if he would be willing to reprise his role as Jack Burton, the main character in the John Carpenter cult film. The popular actor replied that he would not face any problem, although the only condition to return is that there is a better script than the first film.

“No way. If someone writes a better script than the first one, I’ll have something new to say. I don’t know. We can slap John Carpenter a little and say, ‘Come on, John, let’s do this.’

In the year 2010, Jack’s life is revealed after the coup events in Little China. A sequel to the 1986 film could be quite interesting. However, no reports have come to light to suggest that a second installment is currently in the works.
