New MCU rumor says Krysten Ritter will return to her role as Jessica Jones in Daredevil: Reborn
For some time now, there have been speculations about Krysten Ritter returning to the MCU as Jessica Jones. Widespread opinion on the Internet suggests that we will see the actress in “Daredevil: Reborn”. Although shows like “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” and “Echo” seem likely, Ritter is reportedly close to making an “Echo” cameo. This cameo was canceled when “Echo” became a standalone series under the “Marvel Spotlight” banner.
The long-awaited return of fans
After the second and third seasons of the Jessica Jones solo series, fans are eager to see Ritter get another chance thanks to Marvel Studios. Even though we finally get a new Luke Cage (Mike Colter doesn’t seem too keen on returning), this version of the tough private investigator is still a must-see.
According to popular contributor @MyTimeToShineH, Ritter has held meetings with Marvel Studios about returning to the role. His return is expected to be in the second season of “Daredevil: Rebirth”. This means that Ritter has not filmed anything for the nine episodes that will air next March on Disney+. Although this may disappoint many, it is important to consider that the reboot features characters such as The Punisher, Bullseye, Karen Page and Foggy Nelson.
krysten ritter and her eagerness to return
Recently, Ritter has refrained from commenting on the possibility of a return in “Daredevil: Born Again” or any other MCU project, but given fan demand, we’d be surprised if it wasn’t. The Daredevil series seems like the best place to make this return happen, as we’re sure Matt Murdock will need their help in his battle with Mayor Fisk.
Last April, when asked if she was open to returning as Jessica Jones, Ritter said, “I have no idea; I hope so! I think people will love Jessica; I know because I live it.” I was ready to rock.
MCU canon and Netflix series
Ritter’s return is made more likely by Marvel Studios’ decision to include the Netflix TV shows (produced by Marvel Television) as an official part of the MCU “canon.” This opens the door for fan-favorite characters like Jessica Jones to come back and integrate into existing MCU narratives.
Starring Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, Jon Bernthal, Margarita Leviva, Michael Gandolfini, Janea Walton, Artie Frushan, Deborah Ann Wall, Elden Henson, Wilson Bethel, Jeremy Earle and Ayelet Zurer, “Daredevil: Reborn” premieres on Disney+. Next March. Fans are excited to see how these characters’ stories develop and finally see Jessica Jones cross paths with Daredevil.
This possible inclusion will not only please Jessica Jones fans, but also enrich the Daredevil universe, adding incredible flexibility for future plots in the MCU.
Jessica Jones’ influence on the MCU
Jessica Jones, played by Krysten Ritter, left an indelible mark on the Marvel Universe. Her unique blend of strength and vulnerability resonated deeply with fans. His return will not only satisfy the public’s desire, but also add complexity and richness to the future stories of the MCU.
With Marvel Studios’ decision to integrate the Netflix series into the official canon, a number of narrative possibilities have opened up. Jessica Jones is able to interact with characters she’s never seen her way on screen before, creating new alliances and rivalries that will delight audiences.
