Oliver’s life started in troubles

Nolan’s attempted redemption ends with a disaster

After Nolan’s fight with invincible and leaving the earth, Omni-Man went to Thraxa, populated by a kind of Bug People. After learning that the thraxans have only a nine -month lifespan and that the oldest rule on the planet, Nolan reveals his powers and quickly becomes the new sovereign of the planet. In just a short period, Nolan reigned over generations of Thraxans and finally took a Thraxan woman, Andressa, like her new partner and the two had Oliver shortly after.

Being half viltrumitis and half-thraxan, Oliver was born with purple skin, which was considered a genetic flaw and weakness in the culture of viltrumitis.

Knowing that the viltrumites would come for him, Omni-Man called Mark to Thraxa to help him defeat the inbound soldiers. After a very clumsy meeting and reconciling with an extraterrestrial half-brother, Mark agreed to help because Oliver was innocent and the viltrumites arrived. Mark brought Andressa and Oliver safely, and the father and son duo took the viltrits in a bloody battle through the planet, which led to the death of many Thraxans and the destruction of most of the planet.

The viltrumites have proven to be too much for Omni-Man and Invincible, and Nolan is taken prisoner while Mark is left half dead and has been ordered to take control of the earth for the Viltrumite Empire. Mark would stay on Thraxa for a while to recover and help people rebuild themselves. At that time, Andressa was aged, while the development of Oliver has slowed down and began to become more similar to that of humans. Knowing that Oliver would go beyond all those he knew of generations, Andressa asked Mark to bring him to earth, and Mark returned to earth with his new little brother.

Once on earth, Oliver was raised by Mark’s mother, Debbie, who tried to raise Oliver as a normal child like Mark. However, Oliver quickly showed that it was far from normal and continued to grow at an accelerated pace, developing several years in a few months. Now a young man, Oliver has become obsessed with Mark’s career as an invincible and has become a hero, idolizing his older brother.

In Invincible # 42, Oliver developed his own powers and took off for the first time while playing Catch with Mark.

Once his powers have developed, it did not take long until Oliver begs to take him to superhero adventures. During a bank flight involving Tether Tyrant and Magmaniac, Oliver slipped and took advantage of this opportunity to become a hero, helping Mark to defeat the bad guys. After having his first fight to his credit, Mark finally agreed to train him and Inincible # 51, Mark took Oliver to see the Tailor and get his own costume. After obtaining his costume, Oliver revealed that he had chosen Kid Omni-Man as his name as a superhero, to the surprise of art and Mark. Mark Sat Sat Oliver and explained that their father had done terrible things on earth and that it would take a long time before people begin not to fear the Omni-Man name.

Oliver was confused, saying that Nolan was a hero on his planet and that he was actively working to buy him by taking his name. Mark wondered if Oliver was right, but before he could convince him to change his name, the two were called when Kursk and Furnace attacked the Bashold penitentiary to try to release the Multi-Paul. It would be a central moment for Oliver and Mark, showing their differences and similarities. Like Mark, Oliver grew by seeing Nolan as a hero and someone who was admired. However, Oliver has never seen the obscure side of Omni-Man that Mark made, which almost cost him his life and creates a contrast striking between the two brothers. It was also one of the first times that Mark questioned his approach to be a hero and the ability of people to change, leading to his more pragmatic approach to crime in subsequent questions.

In Invincible # 52, the materials attacked a nuclear and invincible base went to arrest them. Seeing the television attack, Oliver rushed using Mark and jumped directly into the fight. Mark tells him that he is not ready and to leave, but before they could listen to his brother, the Twins Mauler released a nuclear rocket. Invincible accelerated to stop the missile and told Oliver to run away, but Oliver had other ideas and took the Maurs alone.Oliver breaks the jaw of one of the twins but is then thrown into the rubble.

Oliver got up and, without a second reflection, drew directly into one of the Mauler twins and torn it in half.

The other Twin Mauler seems horror and begins to beg Oliver to let him live, but Oliver strikes him so strong that his head explodes. When Invincible discovered what Oliver did, he was furious and said to Oliver that they don’t kill people because human life is precious. However, Oliver sees things very differently and said most humans were insignificant and did not even care about their own lives. The violent death of the Mauler twins by Oliver was the moment that solidified him as not only an innocent child, but someone with an incredible power that looks more like Omni-Man in almost all the senses than Mark is not. Again, this underlines how Oliver’s relationship with the earth is more similar to Nolan’s experiences than that of Mark.

Mark then tried to talk to Oliver in Invincible # 53, but he did not show any remorse for what he did. Oliver is struggling to relate to people on earth or even love them. On its native planet, due to the short lifespan of Thraxans, the greatest good and society as a whole were placed above an individual, therefore estimated that humanity was a selfish and disgusting species . Thraxans remembers every moment of their lives, so that Oliver can even remember the conversations during his birth. This revelation put the views of Oliver and similarities with Omni-Man in perspective, Oliver having been influenced by him much earlier than we thought before. Could remember everything about his time on Thraxa, Oliver knew his father being a hero from his birth and, from his point of view, bravely fought the invaders of Viltrumite who destroyed his planet.

Mark agreed to do so, and the two brothers kissed him, but Oliver was still angry with invincible and hinted that his apologies were a lie. Oliver considers himself being more logical in his opinions on murder, while Mark leaves his emotions and his sense of moral justice darken his judgment. This parallel to the views of Omni-Man on humanity during his fight with Mark Invincible # 12, where he called human animals that could not be considered equal.

While patrolling in the city, Oliver encountered an outburst and caused a massive destruction during their fight until the arrival of Mark and sent him home. Things would smooth themselves between the brothers until Angstrom Levy returns.

In Invincible # 60, Levy attacked the earth with an army of marks of all the multiverse in what is called the Invincible war.

During the attack, Oliver held up against one of the alternative brands and helped his brother and balls in their last assault against Levy. After Invincible captured Levy, Oliver urged his brother to kill him and Mark in fact arrives at the logic of Oliver. However, the villain escaped through a portal before Mark could finish the work. THE Invincible war Not only was Oliver a hero, but also a final turning point for Mark, and the first time he intentionally gave in to his darker impulses and showed readers that he looked more like his father and Oliver that he did not would like to admit it.

After Levy’s attack, Oliver was forced to intensify again when Conquest arrived to verify Mark’s progress in the management of the earth. While Conquest beat Mark throughout the city, Oliver rushed to help his brother. Oliver attacked Conquest, and the powerful Viltrumite broke his face and almost torn it in two before Mark could get up and save him. The viltruities of the invincible DC hero would like to eliminate more than anyone

The legendary invincible artist Ryan Ottley revealed which superhero of emblematic DC he would like to see the war against the murderous Viltrumites.

The loyalty of Oliver to Mark was questioned in the Viluturmite war, although he was finally caught up in his family. Even when he almost faced his death, Oliver Grayson showed that his father may have inspired his growth as Kid Omni-Man in Young Omni-Man, but this was only possible because of his brother elder.

Kid Omni-Man powers and abilities

Oliver has the potential to be even more powerful than invincible

Being a child of a Thraxan and a Viltrumite, Oliver has many unique powers which separate him from the invincible. While having all the powers of a Viltrumite, because the thraxans are less compatible with their species, the levels of olive power are lower than those of Mark or Nolan.

However, Oliver compensates for his weakest powers with his ability to develop and learn incredibly quickly, which also allows his powers to progress much faster than Mark. This main difference between invincible and Kid Omni-man makes Oliver a unique and vital member of the invincible family whose potential could even exceed the Mark.

Powers and capacities

Viltrumite / Genetic Thraxan

Oliver is both a viltrumitis and a thraxan, giving it all the capacities of a viltrumite and the rapid development of thraxans. Since the Viltrumite gene is more dominant, Oliver’s Thraxan attributes began to fade as its purple skin and its rapid growth.

Accelerated development

Due to his Thraxan genetics, Oliver grows at an incredible pace and can remember every moment of his life, and instantly learns and understands an unlimited amount of information. This capacity is one of the main factors that separates it and Mark and their various points of view on

Super force

Although it is not as strong as invincible, Oliver still has a massive force of its Viltrumite genes. In the comics, Oliver can fight blood viltrumites and easily break everything that stands on his way, including the Mauler twins.

Super speed / endurance

In parallel with the force, Oliver also inherited the speed and endurance of the Viltrumites. Being able to fly faster than the speed of sound and observe reality at an accelerated pace. Mark even hypothesized that Oliver could be faster than him while training Invincible # 58.

Invulnerability

Like his brother, Oliver is also invulnerable to most attacks, with only other viltruities shown to injure him. Oliver can also cure at an incredible pace, perhaps even faster than Mark, and he recovered in just a few days after the attack on Conquest, and Mark takes several weeks.

Travel / Interstellar Travel

With great strength, speed and durability, Oliver also inherited the Viltrumite gene to fly. Oliver can fly at the speed of light, even in space, and survive without any additional help. Due to its improved flight speed and endurance, Oliver can easily move to other planets and operate at optimal levels in almost all environments.

Decelerated aging

Following the Thraxan and Viltrumite genes of Oliver, its aging fluctuates as it grows. While Oliver was a child, he developed quickly due to Thraxans Shrawer Life Tide, going from a baby to a year in just three weeks. However, as Oliver grew up, its dominant viltruct genes slowed its aging and stabilized at the beginning of adulthood. In Invincible # 27, Nolan suggested that Oliver could live for centuries and still be in his first years. This rapid development also extends to the powers of Oliver, having acquired them much earlier than Mark and progressing much faster.

Viltrumites are the most powerful beings in the invincible universe, with almost nothing corresponding to their raw power. While Oliver’s powers may not reach that of a blood -blooded viltruct, its ability to learn and develop at incredible speeds, as well as its powers of Viltrumite, make Oliver Grayson one of the most powerful characters in Invincible.
