The version of Harley Quinn that we see in Joker 2 will have an important change

Harley Quinn is called something else in Joker: Folie à Deux.

How will Lady Gaga fare in Joker 2?

In an interview with E! News, Gaga talked about the sequel to the Joker, although she could not say so much as it is not possible to destroy the surprise, the star missed an important detail related to her version of Harley Quinn. Below we share Gaga’s words.

“My version of Harley Quinn is Lee, and in many ways I think this will be a very different Lee for people and I’m excited for people to see the story we want to tell.”

No other DC project has changed Harley’s name before Joker, so this may cause a bit of controversy. However, it is not clear if Lee is simply a nickname, if this is the case, the character is still called the same. Additionally, all of the film’s marketing features the villainous Harley Quinn.

The film will hit theaters on October 4, 2024.
