John Krasinski is set to return as Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, but not on the small screen. Instead, Amazon MGM Studios greenlit a feature-length sequel to the popular Prime Video series that lasted for four seasons.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Krasinski will reprise the titular role of intrepid CIA analyst for the Jack Ryan film, which will be directed by Andrew Bernsteinwho served as executive producer and director of season 2 of the series. The screenplay was written by Aaron Rabinwho served as co-executive producer and writer for season 4. Wendell Pierce is also expected to return like James Greer, while Michael Kelly is in negotiations to return like Mike November.
