JJK Director Returns With New Disney Anime in World Premiere Trailer


A new animated series Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1 director, Sunghoo Park, also known for directing Ninja Kamui And The God of High Schoolis expected to take the stage in 2025.




The release window for the next Ball/Bullet was recently announced as part of the Disney Content Showcase 2024, held on November 21 (SGT) at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. Scheduled for the first time in the summer of 2025, Ball/Bullet will stream exclusively on Disney+, featuring a key, action-packed visual trailer and staff roster – outlined by Japanese media Oricon as a “gathering of masters” – all now revealed for the first time.

Ball/Bullet is scripted by Aki Kindaichi, also known for composing the upcoming series of Uma Musume Cinderella Gray. In the meantime, Hunter x Hunter, TrigunAnd Suzerain Character designer Takahiro Yoshimatsu is also in charge of character designs for Ball/Bulletin addition to taking on the role of chief animation director. Hidetaka Tenjin, Mecha anime artist (Hellsing Ultimate, Gundam evolve) handles mechanical artwork and design, while Fire Emblem And Initial D Director Shin Misawa is in charge as director of the car action.

Park, who also wrote the original Ball/Bullet story, shared his joy at seeing the series finally approach its premiere. “I am very happy that what I felt 10 years ago has now become a movie. I want everyone to watch the growth story of the main character Gear, and I want everyone to enjoy the music, the acting of the voice actors and especially the car action this time, I am delighted to be able to work with the staff that I personally admire. Ball/Bullet is filled with strong feelings! I hope you enjoy it. Go for it!” E&H Production, which he founded, will host the series.
