A show based on Arkham Asylum from the Batman universe is in development, and James Gunn is involved in the project.
James Gunn has revealed that Batman director Matt Reeves’ Arkham Asylum series will be part of the DCU.

Since it was announced that Reeves was developing a program set in Asylum, it was speculated that the project would take place in the Batman universe. However, Gunu surprised everyone by revealing that the product is set in the DCU.
When a user asked the filmmaker if Reeves was working on other Batverse projects besides the Batman series, the Penguin series, and the Arkham show, Gunn replied, “Matt is producing Arkham as a DCU series.” So this confirms that his sequel in the Batman universe and a show starring Colin Ferrell is being made.
Gunn explained that the series was always intended to be part of the DCU: “It was one of the first issues that Peter and I got on board. “I don’t know the motivations they had before that moment.”
It’s amazing how Gunn continues to confirm important details of the universe this way, when it’s best to announce them at fan-favorite events. That way, the public will have confidence that you know what you’re doing.
Currently, nothing is known about the show’s plans, but Gunn confirmed that Reeves is working on more DCU projects.
