COBRA KAI ended his six -seasons race by definitively dissolving the rivalry between Daniel Larusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka). The series has also got rid of its Karate The bad guys in the most dramatic way possible.
Talk to Gamesradar +Showrunner Jon Hurwitz said Daniel and Johnny reconcile were still the plan. “”It was always the idea, speaking specifically for the very end with Johnny and Daniel, we wanted them to be together and finally a friendship“He said.” It’s so funny because I remember the first season when we made the show, the first notes we got from the studio were: “Can Johnny and Daniel lead a dojo together?” “”

According to Hurwitz, he and the co-showrunners Josh Heald and Hayden Schlossberg had to say to the studio leaders that history would finally go in this direction. “”We say to ourselves: ‘No, that’s all [thing]This is where we get, we head, we give 65 episodes, and we will get there at the end“” He said, recalling the conversation. “And we wanted, you know, build a friendship during these seasons [and for] Johnny Lawrence finally has this redemption, to bring him back to this red carpet where he is able to exercise the demons of the past. “”
Johnny Lawrence gets her happiness forever
Johnny obtains his happy end at the end of COBRA KAI. After a speech of encouragement from Daniel, he found his confidence and defeated Sensei Wolf to ensure victory at Sekai Taikai. The pair finally decides to associate by mixing Cobra Kai and Miyagi-Do styles to form the next generation of students. Johnny’s personal life also takes a positive turn, with him and Carmen setting up in a new house with their daughter. Johnny also reconciles with Sensei Kreese (Martin Kove) in season 6, episode 15 “Strike Last”.
