Actress Krysten Ritter, who played Jessica Jones in the Netflix series, may return as the heroine sooner than we think.
The actress who played Jessica Jones on the Netflix show hinted that the character will return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The return of Jessica Jones is inevitable.
After Echo’s premiere, a Netflix series from the Defenders universe was added to the MCU timeline on Disney+, effectively confirming that the entire universe is part of the Marvel Studios Earth-616 canon. Because of this, fans now think there is a great chance to see the most important characters from Marvel’s side of the street. In fact, the announcement of the return of one may be imminent.
Krysten Ritter, the star who played Jessica Jones on the Netflix show, hinted on her Instagram story that we’ll be seeing her in the role again. The print features a shirt worn by actress Jessica Jones in one of her episodes, along with the phrase “If you know it, you know it.” Apparently, Ritter has hinted at his return to the MCU.
Daredevil: Rebirth is currently filming, so if Ritter is set to reprise his role, it stands to reason that he’ll appear on the Disney+ show in some capacity. Also, we should remember that one of the first Rebirth rumors (before the creative reboot) was in Jessica Jones. However, soon after the character’s arc was reportedly taken off for the sequel, as the actress was busy with another project. Ritter’s appearance has been rumored for a long time.
Daredevil: Rebirth currently does not have a release date.
