James Cameron Shares His Thoughts on Terminator Zero, But He Still Won’t Talk About Terminator 7
If you are one of those who wanted to get new information about Terminator 7We bring you bad news. It turns out that James Cameron is still not willing to offer details about the new franchise project.
James Cameron Doesn’t Want to Talk About the Next Chapter of the Saga
During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Cameron talked about the upcoming anime series Netflix, Terminator Zero. However, The outlet took the opportunity to ask the director about the status of Terminator 7but he simply replied: “It’s totally classified. ‘I don’t want to have to send a potentially dangerous robot agent if you’ve talked about it, even retroactively.’”
Apparently Cameron thinks it’s too early to give any production details, so we shouldn’t worry about the project for now. Below, we share what the popular director had to say about Terminator Zero.
“That sounds interesting. My relationship with it is very similar to The Sarah Connor Chronicles: I find it interesting that other people are telling stories in a world that I’ve set in motion. What are they taking? What made you curious? Where are they going? It seems like they’re going back to the root cause of Doomsday (nuclear war) and whether or not that’s a definitive timeline. I’d be interested to see what they’ve discovered.”
“I’m working on my own Terminator stuff right now. It has nothing to do with that. Like The Sarah Connor Chronicles, it sometimes touched on themes that I’d played with completely independently. So there’s a certain curiosity in it. “It’s not a compelling curiosity, but obviously it would be nice to see it succeed.”
The Netflix series will arrive on August 29, 2024.
