Anthony Ramos is attached to play The Hood, the villain of Ironheart, in the MCU

Parker Robbins/The Hood he will be the bad guy Iron heartand is played by Antonio Ramoswho recently explained how he prepared to bring this character to life in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

What can we expect from Anthony Ramos’ The Hood?

During an interview with ComingSoon, Ramos was asked if he researched the villain from the pages of Marvel Comics for his performance in Ironheart. The actor replied no, as he decided to give his own version of the character.

“No, I wasn’t really interested in comics. I focused on my character and just followed the script. But I also asked myself: how can I make it unique? How can I do it differently? Parker Robbins in the comics is from New York. Our character is from Chicago, our show is set there. So I just wanted to make it super dynamic. Like all characters, I just see how I relate to him and try to put the most of myself into the character. I think that’s how I saw it. But of course I referenced the comics. He looks a certain way, but Parker Robbins in the comics looks different than me, you know? So it was nice to be able to almost recreate this guy.”

Ironheart will be released in Disney+ on June 24, 2025.
