Aquaman 2 box office predictions show that the DC movie is in a very serious situation

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom could be a huge box office disappointment, according to a new report.

Aquaman 2 is not generating interest.

Deadline has shared box office predictions for Aquaman 2 in its first four days of theatrical release, showing that the DC Universe film will gross around $40 (perhaps a little more optimistic) million domestically. This report is a concern, as the film will likely earn less in the United States than The Marvels ($46.7 million). Fortunately, international projections do not present us with such a dire scenario, as the sequel to Aquaman has the potential to earn up to $110 million, of which more than $70 million is said to come from other territories.

The small interest of the public in the second part of Aquaman does not surprise anyone, the current state of the cinema of the DC universe is deteriorating and the performance of the latest products confirms it. However, the debacle of the Jason Momoa starrer has overtaken the superheroes, leaving December a disappointing month for theaters. The last releases of the year don’t bring people to the theaters (and the next ones aren’t exciting enough either) everything depends on a superhero movie that doesn’t have the best box office predictions.

Aquaman 2 premieres in a few hours.
