The new live-action He-Man and the Masters of the Universe could bring the action to Earth, but for a short period of time
The long-awaited live-action film Masters of the Universein development by Amazon/MGM, could significantly alter He-Man’s origin and its connection to Eternia, according to recent rumors. Although this iconic franchise has had multiple versions since the 1980s, This new approach promises to offer something completely different and perhaps a little controversial for the most loyal fans.
He-Man in the real world
The rumors suggest so Prince Adam, aka He-Man, will not begin his story on Eternia as is tradition. On this occasion, those responsible seem to want to use Adam as an emotional bridge between viewers and the fantastical world of Eterniaadding a “fish out of water” twist to make the story more accessible.
However, this change could divide the most purist fanswho have followed He-Man’s adventures on Eternia since the first animated series and comics.
A luxury cast for an epic universe
The cast of this adaptation is full of talent, starting with Nicola Galitzine (Purple hearts, Red, white and royal blue), who will play Prince Adam/He-Man. He will be there to accompany him Camila Mendes (Riverdale) as Teela, his faithful companion and possible love interest.
