GI Joe would have been the perfect sequel to crossover the movies with Transformers in the 2010s.

In a revelation that surprised fans, concept art for the G-Joe animated series, conceived in the 2010s and never produced, has come to light, offering a unique look at what’s to come. Kid-friendly from the amazing franchise.

The project, “GI Joe: Adventure Team,” combines the adventure and rescue scope of the 1970s GI Joe toy line for the 1970s cartoon “GI Joe: A Real American Hero.” 80. The central idea was to avoid terrorist and similar threats by focusing instead on protecting the great wonders around the world. An adventure team is made up of a variety of adventurers with special skills and abilities, like Rocky, a “land adventurer” trained in geology and observation.

A shadowy villain and the expected cameos

Although they avoided traditional threats, the series introduced a shadowy threat in the form of MARS, known to fans as James McCullen, aka Destro. A young McCullen (without the iconic mask) was slated to make cameos, like a school version of The Baroness. In addition, young versions of popular G-Jo members like the silent ninja Snake Eyes were expected, trying to replicate the unique looks of Autobots like Optimus Prime and Bumblebee in the “Transformers: Hunter Bots” children’s series.

But this great plan could not be implemented. Considering the time of its development, it served as a successor to the cartoon “GI Joe: Renegades”. But unfortunately, the series never went beyond the proposal stage. As a result, more than ten years have passed without a new GI Joe cartoon, and the films have not been able to achieve the expected success on the big screen.

The future of GI Joe with Transformers

Meanwhile, the “GI Joe: Classified” line of action figures has been a success, reimagining the characters of the “True American Hero” series. In contrast, “Transformers” has gone on to get several animated series over the past decade, including Netflix’s “Transformers: War for Cybertron” trilogy and the current cartoon “Transformers: Earthspark.” Currently, it is uncertain when a new GI Joe sequel will hit the screens, especially as such rejected proposals are yet to emerge.
