Futurama is returning sooner than you thought, confirmed by Amy’s voice

Futurama is returning, and while everything pointed to the end of the year, it looks like it will be much sooner

A few months ago, Hulu announced that there would be a new seasonor more chapters, of Matt Groening’s most beloved series, Futurama. Though it has already been deletedthe actress who voices Amy Wong has answered a fan who has asked about when we can see the new episodes of the series. We imagine that with all the good will in the world and not knowing that he might get into trouble, he replied:

The new episodes were supposed to premiere sometime this summer. I can’t wait for you to see them!

We still don’t know the exact release date or how many chapters this new installment will have, but Futurama fans are really excited and the wait seems to be shorter than expected initially, as the first information pointed towards the end of the year.
