Plot and characters
As the world falls apart, young Furiosa is snatched from the green space of many mothers and falls into the hands of a large biker horde led by the warlord Dementus. Crossing the desert, they encounter the Citadel, led by Immortan Joe. As these two tyrants battle for supremacy, Furiosa must survive many challenges as she searches for a way back home. Anya Taylor-Joy plays the lead role, and along with Hemsworth, the film stars Alaila Brown and Tom Burke.
Warner Bros. Pictures presents a Kennedy Miller Mitchell production directed by George Miller in association with Village Roadshow Pictures. The film will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, and will hit theaters on May 24, 2024, with a global release scheduled for May 22, 2024.
