New images from Agatha All Along show the titular witch in her costume and the mysterious “Teenager” played by Joe Locke
As Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Agatha All Along will serve as a sequel to WandaVision, the first Marvel Studios series on Disney+ launched in 2021. The last time we saw Agatha Harkness, Scarlet Witch had her trapped in Westview. “Then this mysterious goth teen, played by Heartstopper’s Joe Locke, comes into her life,” showrunner Jac Schaeffer tells Empire Online. “It’s her idea to go down the Witch’s Path to regain her power.”
“But to walk the Path, it is necessary to form a congregation,” Add. “How does a witch, whom no one trusts, bring together a group of sisters?”
Agatha All Along: Revealing the Details
Joe Locke confirms that “Teenager” is not just a code name, but what he was called in the show’s scripts. Fans suspect it he could play Billy Kaplan/Maximoff aka Wiccanalthough it looks like Marvel Studios wants to keep it under wraps for now.
“He’s a member of the family; he’s like the assistant to the coven,” Locke says. “The Teenage Witch is a huge fan of witchcraft and witches, so for him to be taken under the wing of Agatha Harkness, form a coven, and walk the Witches’ Path is his dream. He’s like a fanboy and he’s in his element. Which is really funny, because I was one too.“
“Jac sent a photo from the set of Witches’ Trail to Kevin Feige and he was like, ‘Oh my God, we’re doing The Goonies.'” Add. “That’s what I said: that we were doing a series of adventures.”
In the series, The infamous Agatha Harkness finds herself helpless after a goth teenager frees her from a twisted spell.. Her interest is piqued when he implores her to accompany him on the fabled Witch’s Path, a magical challenge that, if passed, rewards the witch with what she lacks.
Gathering of the Coven
Agatha All Along is starring Kathryn Hahn, Joe Locke, Sasheer Zamata, Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia, Paul Adelstein, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Okwui Okpokwasili, with Debra Jo Rupp, Patti LuPone and Aubrey Plaza.
