With The Last of Us, HBO Max shows that few can stand against it in terms of quality series. The actor who plays Tommy, Gabriel Luna, have spoken about how such a shocking scene was created. He explains that the facades of the buildings were completely reconstructed, making it clear that most of the scene was done for practical purposes, although clearly the plane crash was not (although if the scene had been in the hands of Christopher Nolan, still crash a plane).
