Naoki Hamaguchi wants the third part of Final Fantasy VII to come out as soon as possible

Naoki Hamaguchithe current director of Final Fantasy VII, offered interesting information on the ambitious Remake project.

Will Final Fantasy VII Rebirth have DLC?

During an interview with Daily Star, Hamaguchi confirmed that Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will not have DLC or expansions, as the team responsible for the Remake project is working hard on the third part. Hamaguchi has in fact commented that the intention is for the ending of the Remake to come out as soon as possible. Furthermore, the director said that after releasing the three games, he would like to “move on to look at other stories, go a little deeper.”

The game directed by Hamaguchi is together with Astrobots the most nominated game GOTY 2024being present in the following categories: best game of the year, best game direction, best performance: Brianna White (Of Air), best soundtrack, best audio design, best narrative and best role-playing game. In 2020, the first part was also nominated as the best game of the year.
