Yahiko allowed himself to die so the dream could live

Sasori was a very talented and feared shinobi of the Hidden Sand Village. Thanks to his mastery of the Puppet Technique, he was able to kill the third Kazekage – the strongest shinobi in Sand history. He may have been a terrifying opponent, but Sasori was still the first Akatsuki member to fall in battle. Sasori’s defeat came at the hands of his own grandmother Chiyo, as well as Sakura. Hidan doesn’t die, but he is permanently incapacitated

His faith in Jashin allows him to survive things that no normal person, or even a normal shinobi, could do. Furthermore, it allowed him to accept violence and brutality as acceptable measures to achieve his goals. On a personal note, Hidan rarely endeared himself to others, a blatant lack of respect that extended to all Akatsuki.
Unfortunately for him, tragedy struck when Hidan fought Team 10 and killed Asuma Sarutobi, but his victory did not last long. The surviving members of Team 10 returned with Kakashi Hatake, and in the second round, Shikamaru Nara outwitted his scythe-wielding foe and buried his severed head. Hidan technically didn’t die, but he was permanently incapacitated, as close to death as he could be. Given Hidan’s horrific crimes and his irredeemable nature, Naruto fans might argue that Hidan deserved such a fate, and it’s fortunate that he will never terrorize innocent victims in Jashin’s name again.

Kakuzu falls when Kakashi uses his patented Chidori technique
Death in episode 89 “The Price of Power”
Kakuzu was Hidan’s partner and one of the oldest members of Akatsuki. When the former Waterfall shinobi left his village, he stole a scroll that allowed him to steal the hearts of other ninja, allowing Kakuzu to extend his life while using all five elements. In fact, Kakuzu and Hidan are humorously nicknamed the “Combo Zombie”. On the other hand, Kakuzu seems to be a completely selfish individual, as he would never offer his services without receiving something in return. As such, he called himself “The Treasurer of Akatsuki”.
During the fight with Shikamaru and Team Kakashi, Kakuzu possessed five hearts that supported his immense power. Kakashi destroyed the first core with his Lightning Blade, the second was accidentally destroyed by Hidan, and Naruto destroyed the remaining cores with a Rasenshuriken. To finish him off, Kakashi delivered one final blow using his patented Chidori technique. Kakuzu tried so hard to become immortal and reach the pinnacle of the jutsu, but by choosing to fight for evil, Kakuzu made himself a target for those who know that true immortality is more intangible and sentimental, like the memory of Asuma that endures in Team 10. and guide them to victory.

Deidara destroyed himself in a failed attempt to defeat Sasuke

Deidara was a member of the Stone Village Blast Corps, a position he obtained thanks to his ability to create explosions with his chakra. He also used forbidden techniques to give himself mouths on his palms and chest, which he then used to mold explosive clay. In fact, he is known for stating that “art is an explosion”, demonstrating his limitless ego. Itachi Uchiha agreed to massacre his entire clan to prevent a violent coup in the Leaf Village, but he spared his younger brother Sasuke. He then agreed to join Akatsuki in order to gather information on the group for the Leaf Village. As a prodigy of the Uchiha clan, Itachi was an exceptionally competent and dangerous shinobi, even among his Akatsuki comrades.
Itachi died fighting Sasuke, but it wasn’t that fight that ultimately killed him. Itachi died of an incurable illness, but he still found time to once again act like a loving big brother. before he perishes. Itachi even tells Sasuke that he now respects his brother as a man, stating that his love for Sasuke transcends any excuses that might be made. All things considered, however, Itachi is recognized as one of the strongest characters in Naruto and an instrumental member of the Akatsuki organization.

Pain/Nagato sacrificed himself to resurrect his own victims
Died in episode 174 “The Tale of Naruto Uzumaki”
Nagato was one of the founding members of Akatsuki and served as the group’s leader for years. After the death of his dear friend Yahiko, Nagato overthrew the village leader Rain and used the bodies of Yahiko and five other shinobi to divide his divine powers. As Pain, Nagato killed Jiraiya and subsequently destroyed the Leaf Village. However, Naruto arrived and defeated the six bodies before finding Nagato’s real one.
After realizing that Naruto was the world’s best chance at true peace, Nagato sacrificed himself to resurrect everyone he had killed in the village. He openly regrets his misdeeds, asking Naruto to carry the torch to the end. This makes Nagato one of the very few Akatsuki members redeemed, even if it cost him his life. Interestingly, Tobi initially refuses to believe that Nagato would have performed such a noble act.

Kisame Hoshigaki summoned three sharks to eat him alive
Died in episode 251 “The Man Called Kisame”
After Kisame Hoshigaki killed his own mentor, he became a member of the Seven Mist Ninja Swordsmen.. Shortly after, he met Obito/Tobi who convinced him to leave the village and join Akatsuki, where he was eventually partnered with Itachi. Kisame possessed Samehada, a massive scaled sword that eats chakra. Interestingly, Kisame’s first on-screen death was a fake.

Konan was killed in an epic duel with Tobi
Died in episode 253 “The Bridge to Peace”
Konan trained alongside Nagato and Yahiko and was a founding member of the Akatsuki group. Konan implemented his love of origami into his fighting by developing a style that involved him transforming his body into paper, which included the use of paper shuriken. Additionally, she was nicknamed “the Angel of God” because of the visual effect of her paper wings. After Nagato’s death, Konan decided to leave her dream of peace in Naruto’s hands.
After that, Konan left Akatsuki and returned to Rain Village, where she became the interim leader. Tobi went to confront Konan to find out where she had hidden Nagato’s body. Although Konan bravely tried to defend himself and vowed to defeat Tobi, the latter overpowered and killed Konan. His corpse is later seen bobbing up and down in the lake near Amegakure. It was an unfortunate ending for what was arguably the least evil member of Akatsuki, but at least Konan died fighting for a just cause, and Jiraiya would no doubt have been proud of her.

Tobi/Obito Uchiha died saving Kakashi from Kaguya
Died in episode 472 “You Better…”
Tobi was the secret founder of Akatsuki, but he didn’t officially join the group until Sasori died. His “Tobi” character was a lie – he was actually Obito Uchiha, former member of Kakashi’s teamr. Tobi/Obito helped create Akatsuki to achieve Madara Uchiha’s goal of plunging Earth into a permanent dream world. Tobi did this so he could be with Rin Nohara again in his dreams, and went to extreme lengths to make it happen. He willingly followed Madara’s orders to make the most of his second life, but in reality, the boy once known as Obito Uchiha was truly dead, hidden behind that orange whorl mask and the false name of Tobi.

After realizing his mistake, he helped Naruto and Sasuke stop Madara and Kaguya. Zetsu died twice during the Fourth Great Ninja War
Died in episode 474 “Congratulations”
Zetsu was technically two beings, black and white Zetsu, inhabiting the same body. White Zetsu was killed during the Fourth Ninja War when Sasuke used him as a training target while testing his new eyes. He was killed by an Amaterasu-infused Susanoo arrow which quickly vaporized him. White Zetsu’s death scene proved that his counterpart was probably much stronger.
In the meantime, Black Zetsu was actually a physical manifestation of Kaguya’s will.which makes it several centuries old. During the Fourth Great Ninja War, he fought the Mizukage and Naruto and survived, and he even overpowered a god-level Madara to resurrect Kaguya Otsutsuki. Black Zetsu’s fate was sealed alongside his own, however, as Naruto mocked him for his immaturity and need to be near his so-called mother. Ironically, Black Zetsu got his wish when Naruto cast him in the same jutsu used to seal Kaguya.
