The latest statements from the Kraven director have already expressed some concern about the film’s performance in theaters, and now the first box office projections show what Sony’s next failure would be

Apparently the movie The requirements will have the same fate as Morbius and Madame Web.

Another failure for Sony?

Early box office projections for Kraven show that the Sony film could gross between $20 million and $25 million.. If we compare these figures with the two biggest failures of this Spider-Man universe, we have that the film is the protagonist Aaron Taylor-Johnson falls in the middle, as Madame Web debuted with $15.3 million at the domestic box office, while Morbius grossed $39 million.

Box Office Pro said the following regarding this film’s possible showing in theaters: “There’s a very real possibility that Kraven’s entire domestic gross won’t even exceed the opening weekend gross of Venom: The Last Dance October 2024 ($51 million domestic release, $128.8 million domestic total after four weeks), Sony’s lowest-grossing Venom film.

Kraven the Hunter will be released in theaters on December 13th.
