A new update on the future of Pirates of the Caribbean has been shared
A new report clarifies the current state of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.
Will Johnny Depp return to the saga?
According to Variety, Jack Sparrow fans could see his return if Johnny Depp and Disney put their differences aside. The outlet states that the mouse company has not yet contacted the actor, but the report comments that the manufacturer Jerry Bruckheimer he worked on two different screenplays, one of which features the return of the popular character.
After Depp walks away Pirates of the Caribbean due to his legal troubles, it was reported that Margot Robbie could star in a spin-off of the saga, although this always seemed like an idea they still had to work hard on to make it appealing and, apparently, that project did not move forward. In fact, Bruckheimer had already declared a few months ago that he was interested in using the Jack Sparrow starring Depp, so it’s unclear whether Disney is he still developing Robbie’s project, or are they doing something completely different.
