01/10 Lee Jung-jae
One of the most pleasant surprises for fandom was the announcement at Star Wars Celebration of the arrival in the series of the main character of a mass phenomenon, ‘The Squid Game’.
Lee Jung-jae he would join the cast in the role of a Jedi Master. The actor has been tagged as the male lead in the series and it is possible that his character is the Jedi Master reunited with his former Padawan, played by Stenberg.
02/10 Power Stenberg
Power Stenberg has been confirmed as part of the cast of ‘The Acolyte’, but her character remains a mystery. While it hasn’t been revealed whether she’s a Jedi or not, the evil nature of the series suggests she could play someone from the dark side.
It is also possible that she will play the former Padawan mentioned in the official synopsis. In footage from the event, she is seen fighting Carrie-Ann Moss’ character, but not much else is known about her character.

Dafne Keen is a Spanish-British actress, barely 17 years old, but with an impressive career in acting. Her most recognized role to date has been Laura, also known as X-23, in the 2017 film Logan.
She will play an alien Jedi, a role she herself has described as “an honour”. While the exact nature of his character has yet to be revealed, it is known that he will be part human and part alien, and will require extensive prosthetics.
The series is set in the High Republic era of the Jedi, so it is expected that his character’s story is related to this context.
05/10 Jodie Turner-Smith
Jodie Turner-Smith joins the cast in an exciting and promising role. Her character will be a powerful leader in a matriarchal world, and in an interview with Screen Rant, Turner-Smith revealed that her character will use the Force, even though she won’t be a Jedi. The actress has piqued fans’ curiosity by suggesting she could play a Star Wars Nightsister, a group of witches from Dathomir who use the dark side of the Force in unconventional ways.

Rebecca Henderson will play Vernestra Rwoh, a popular Mirialan Jedi Knight from the ‘High Republic’ novels. This will be the first original character from the publishing venture to make her film debut, although she will be a more mature version of the character found in the novels.
Henderson is known for his versatile acting after appearing in well-known TV series such as ‘Russian Doll’.
Henderson’s choice to play Rwoh has been welcomed as the character is beloved by fans of the novels.

Charlie Barnett, known for his role in the Netflix series “You,” will play a Jedi Knight in ‘The Acolyte.’ His character name and the color of his lightsaber have yet to be revealed. Barnett has also appeared on the series “Russian Doll” and on NBC’s “Ordinary Joe.”

Dean-Charles Chapman, known for his role in the war film ‘1917’ and for ‘Game of Thrones’, will play a Jedi. Although no further details about his character are known yet. It is speculated that he may be involved in a mysterious investigation within the plot. In an interview with Screen Rant, Chapman expressed his excitement about this new role in the franchise.
Chapman is a talented and versatile actor who has demonstrated his ability in previous roles. In ‘1917’ he received critical acclaim for his portrayal of Corporal Blake. Also his role in the dragon series as Tommen Baratheon brought him worldwide fame.

Although not much information has yet been revealed about the role of Elizabeth Moss in ‘The Acolyte’, the exclusive footage suggests that the actress could be involved in intense fight scenes alongside the character played by Amandla Stenberg. Some fans speculate that Moss may play one of the mysterious Dark Side Force users in the series.

One of the best bits of news about the series concerns a Wookiee. And it was revealed in Star Wars Celebration Joonas Suotamoknown for his role as Chewbacca in several films he will play a Wookiee Jedi.
Suotamo’s inclusion in ‘The Acolyte’ has created a lot of excitement among fans of the galactic saga, who are eagerly waiting to see how he will bring to life such a peculiar but interesting character. Finally a Wookiee Jedi on screen!
