Wanner Bros. Discovery has revealed where and when the next animated series, My Adventures with Superman, will premiere
Warner Bros. has announced that the new animated series of Superman, ‘My Adventures with Superman’, does not air on HBO Max as was planned but will be moved to Swimming for adults by Cartoon Network. The series will premiere later this year and the episode will also be repeated on Toonami after its broadcast.
What is My Adventures with Superman about?
Warner Bros. has announced that the new animated series, “My Adventures with Superman,” will premiere later this year on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim. The series will have a strong and present anime influence and will focus on the story of Clark Kent in his early days, befriending Jimmy Olsen and falling in love with Lois Lane, all while protecting Metropolis as Superman.
Plus, the show will really explore what it means to be Clark and Lois Lane, but that doesn’t mean it’s going to be dark and gritty. Clark fans will be happy to know ‘My Adventures with Superman’ it will finally hit screens later this year.
The official synopsis for the series explains that the series will focus on Clark as he grows into the role of hero. Meanwhile, Lois, rising through the ranks of the Daily Planet as an intrepid reporter, decides to take brave photographer Jimmy Olsen under her wing.
The Superman series brings a comedic and light-hearted approach
Judging by the central artwork that has been shown for the series, it will be much more comedic and light-hearted than recent incarnations. The show will really explore what it means to be Superman and fall in love with Lois Lane, but that doesn’t mean it’s going to be dark and bleak. If not the opposite.
The series gets the main role Jack Quaid as Clark Kent, Alice Lee as Lois Lane and Ismail Sahid like Jimmy.
Quaid shared his excitement about the update on Instagram and promoted the series by wearing a Man of Steel T-shirt.
