To celebrate Batman Day, a famous artist has shared a new storyboard for the film that Ben Affleck was preparing about the Dark Knight.
Before Matt Reeves started his universe of Batman next to Robert Pattinson, Actor He was set to direct and star in a Batman movie. However, after several production issues, Affleck decided to abandon the project. Now, a popular artist has shared a storyboard from the scrapped film to celebrate the Batman Day.
The Dark Knight vs. Deathstroke
Artist Jay Oliva, who was involved in the original version of The Batman, has released some of his work. In the storyboard you can see a big fight between the hero of direct current And Slade Wilson.
Oliva has previously spoken about Affleck’s scrapped project, even going so far as to comment on what it was like working with the actor and revealing some interesting details.
“As I understand it, there were a couple of drafts. When I got hired, I don’t know if it was the second draft or something, but that was what Geoff Johns and Ben showed me. [Affleck]. “Ben’s story covered something that had never been covered in comics, but rather was based on stories of the Batman mythos from the last 80 years and approached it from a new perspective.”
“It was really clever and there were a lot of things that I loved and wished they’d done. It was a really interesting project to begin with. “Ben had to step away for personal reasons and I totally understood that, but the time I spent working with Ben on the project was amazing.”
While it would have been interesting to see a Batman movie directed by Affleck, it’s best to move on and hope that Reeves and James Gunn’s plans for the Batman character direct current do him justice.
