Kirby Howell-Baptiste says that we will see a lot more deaths in the second season of The Sandman
Actress Kirby Howell-Baptiste, who starred in Netflix’s The Sandman, confirmed that her character will be more important in Neil Gaiman’s second installment of The Sandman.
Death is seen more in Sandman Season 2
Kirby confirmed to Collider that death will be in multiple episodes of the 2nd Netflix series. Let’s remember that in the first season, the character appeared only together. Below, we share the actor’s words.
“Death is a big part of this season and there are some amazing stories with family that I’m excited for fans to see.”
On the other hand, Howell-Baptiste Gaiman used the opportunity to comment on how he took into account the reception of the fans and thus was able to present the best product.
“It was really nice to be back, because I think the fans are really excited for the episodes this season. It’s like the show is a two-way street, we’re not just putting something out there, Neil’s listening, responding to the fans and then in turn giving them what they’re asking, yelling, begging. So I think fans are going to be really excited to have these stories expand and have the complexities, the family and all those dynamics, this season, this series of episodes.
In the year Fans will have to wait for the next installment of The Sandman after filming resumes in late 2023 after the Hollywood actors strike. So we still have a lot of work to do to get new episodes ready for the first phase.
