For now, the studio has kept most of the film’s surprises to themselves, not even revealing the enemy that Wolverine and Deadpool will face. However, a US copyright filing confirmed that Emma Corrin will play Cassandra Nova, Charles Xavier’s twin sister.
The US Copyright Office has a February 13 pre-registration date for the Marvel Studios film Deadpool and Wolverine. The document’s description lists cast members including Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, Hugh Jackman as Wolverine and of course Emma Corrine as Cassandra Nova. This character has telekinetic and telepathic powers similar to his brother.
It has long been rumored that the actress will give life to the evil mutant, but now it seems to be confirmed.
Deadpool and Wolverine hits theaters on July 26.
