One of the brightest minds in the world of entertainment, David Lynch, has left us

The sad news was shared by the acclaimed director David Lynch has died at the age of 78.

A visionary has left us

In 2024, the same director of 1984’s Dune revealed that he had been diagnosed with emphysema after spending much of his life smoking. The director’s family wrote Facebook as follows:

“It is with profound sadness that we, his family, announce the passing of the man and artist David Lynch. We would appreciate some privacy at this time. There is a big hole in the world now that he is no longer with us. But, as he said, “keep your eyes on the donut and not the hole.” “It’s a beautiful day with golden sunshine and blue skies all the way.”

Lynch is known for his unique storytelling, delivering award-winning and beloved films such as The Elephant Man or Mulholland Drive. Furthermore, the director also left his mark on television, creating the series Twin peaks.
