A new report offers a small description of the DCU superhero
James Gunn’s Supergirl is likely to anger many fans of the DC Universe.

According to a new report released by the moderators of the Reddit group r/DCEULeaks, the next version of the superhero will be chosen by Gunn himself, who will adapt his character in a curious way.
“While we were reporting that a director would wrap filming for Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, we’ve now heard that’s not the case. “Gunn chooses Supergirl.”
The report also says the DCU version will be “comedy with a punk rock edginess” and will have the toughness that comes from witnessing the destruction of the planet Krypton as a child.
Also, the dog Krypto is said to play a key role in the heroine’s story.
Although this Reddit group has been correct in the past, the information they shared should not be taken as official yet. However, if the report turns out to be true, this new adaptation of the character will surely anger some DC fans.
