The original plot of Doctor Strange 2 has been revealed by a former Marvel Studios employee

Handsome DeMayoknown for being the showrunner of X-Men ’97, shares the alleged original plot of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

DeMayo commented on X that early drafts of the Marvel Cinematic Universe film did Wanda justiceand revealed some interesting details about the Strange movie.

“The original drafts did him justice. Wanda was with Strange recovering from Westview, feeling guilty for what she had done. “She helps him, Wong and Chavez (whom she is tutoring) defeat Nightmare in the Multiverse, where she also sees his variants happy with their children.”

“However, Wanda resists and she, not Chavez, helps Strange save the day against Nightmare, who turns out to be a variant of Strange corrupted by the Darkhold. She also used her experience as Scarlet Witch and Vision to warn Chavez against abusing his power.

“Only after saving the day, unable to resist searching for a multiverse where she can be with her children, a sobbing Wanda separates from Strange and accidentally decapitates Wong, who tries to stop her from escaping into the multiverse. ‘That was the end of the movie.’”

If DeMayo is telling the truth, the original storyline seems pretty good, and Wanda’s journey from hero to villain would have been more satisfying for those who didn’t like the character’s treatment in Doctor Strange 2. There is one detail though, if Wanda ends up being the bad guy, Wonder He would be in a tricky situation because he would have to figure out when and where to continue his story arc after the creative restructuring the studio is going through (and after the writers’ and actors’ strike).
