Warner Bros. Fantastic Beasts The trilogy has received a brand new streaming update. THE Harry Potter The spin-off films were led by Academy Award winner Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamender, presented as an eccentric magizoologist. He is also known as the author of the book Care of Magical Creatures, which was first seen in the original film franchise as part of the Hogwarts curriculum.




From Friday November 1st Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016), Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018), and Fantastic Beasts: Dumbledore’s Secrets (2022) will officially be available to start streaming on Peacock. Since its debut, the fantasy adventure franchise has raked in a combined gross of over $1.8 billion at the worldwide box office. Of the three spin-offs, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is currently the only installment to receive a Certified Fresh rating of 74% on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 346 reviews. The 2016 film is also the highest-grossing film in the franchise, with a worldwide gross of over $800 million. Unfortunately, its sequels failed to live up to expectations, as both films received mixed reviews from critics and fans.

THE Fantastic Beasts the trilogy was based on the 2001 film Harry Potter guide written by JK Rowling, who also served as executive producer of all three films. The famous British filmmaker David Yates, who has already directed four films Harry Potter films, including Deathly Hallows, parts 1 and 2also directed the three Fantastic Beasts films based on a screenplay adapted by Rowling. Besides Redmayne, the franchise also starred Dan Fogler as Jacob Kowalski, Katherine Waterston as Tina Goldstein, Alison Sudol as Queenie Goldstein, Carmen Ejogo as Seraphina Picquery, Ezra Miller as as Credence Barebone, Callum Turner as Theseus Scamander, Zoë Kravitz as Leta Lestrange, Jessica Williams as Lally Hicks, and more.


In addition to introducing new characters in Harry Potter universe, the trilogy also featured younger versions of familiar characters, including Jude Law as Albus Dumbledore, Colin Farrell/Johnny Depp/Mads Mikkelsen as Gellert Grindelwald, Claudia Kim as Nagini, and Fiona Glascott as Professor McGonagall. Due to the success of the first installment, the studio initially planned to develop four sequels to conclude the franchise. However, due to Dumbledore’s SecretDue to poor box office performance and disappointing critical response, whether the studio will greenlight the final two sequels is now unclear.
