Cobra Kai has just killed the most emblematic villain in karate?

The following contains spoilers for Cobra Kai season 6, part 3, now available on Netflix.

The third and last part of COBRA KAI Season 6 has a lot of action, as planned. There are also very extreme moments that lead to death. Part 2 has teased as much with Kwon dying in the Sekai Taikai tournament in Spain after using a knife on the carpet. This fight suggested that the last share of episodes would become much uglier. This is exactly what happens when the groups meet to finish the competition.

With the exception of the sinister arcs which take place on the carpet, the most emblematic villain of the franchise, John Kreese, is found in the front and in the center. It was after realizing that he hurt by Johnny Lawrence of William Zabka. Unfortunately, while Kreese aims to end a happy ending and redemption, he dies in a painful way.

The Cobra Kai showrunners open up to the future of the nasty of the Karate Kid franchise, and why he will not get a redemption arc.

Kreese presents himself with a cigar, cutting style on Terry, but he underestimates the magnate. The fight reaches the top of the yacht. Terry obtains the upper hand but, Kreese identifies a fear of petrol. He throws the cigar and exploded the boat, killing the two men in a very shocking way. The name of the episode is “Strike Last”, which is quite Apt. Terry pushed the mantra of intimidation COBRA KAI “strike first”. When he took over the dojo, he continued to encourage the mentality that Kreese had to be pity. This came from their military training under Master Kim in Korea. Terry stole the dojo, however, after thinking that Kreese was weak to worry about Johnny.

Kreese shows Terry that Johnny was not his weakness, and that neither was he tried to go legitimate – they were his strength. It is a tragic end that will leave divided viewers. Some fans would have sympathy for Kreese. He apologized to Johnny and Tory for armed them. He even told Johnny sorry for abandoning him after losing against Daniel years ago. Kreese knows that his methods have led to a lot of intimidation, violence and aggression. Even on his return, his ways had training effects on other younger fighters like Kwon. The break point came when Kreese wanted Kwon to unleash his anger in the competition, only for the teenager to shoot a knife and die when he fell on it.

Kwon had Kreese thinking he had to do things correctly. Once Miyagi-Do’s time in the competition completed, Kreese gave Cobra Kai to Johnny so that he can use Miguel and Tory to defeat the Iron Dragons in the final of the series series. This is Kreese’s last will. However, some nostalgic may have trouble forgiving Kreese due to the number of crimes he wrapped in his closet. He injured a lot, which is why Miyagi and Daniel never considered him a healthy character. However, after his repentant tours, he is at peace knowing that Johnny and Tory forgave him.

At the start of this final COBRA KAI episodes, Kreese sees that he needs to go to the extreme to purge the virus he has spread around the world. Kreese is reprimanded in Korea after Kwon’s death. Maître Kim thinks that he has poorly oriented the students, so he reassessed students’ control. Kim again brings back his sacred dagger. However, Kim’s granddaughter, Eun-Da, knew the painful path that the Dojang will launch. Kim had students who hit each other and she killed the old man to save the students. Kreese saw this and realized how bad things were.

Kreese and Eun-Da separated, but a seed was planted. Sometimes to do the right thing, the monster inside must be embraced. Kreese kept this in mind and dragged Terry. It’s ironic, because Kreese was argued with Kim decades when the man punished Eun-Da. Kreese didn’t want his training and his beat to be beaten, but Kim beat him. Kreese knew that Eun-Da had suffered in the years he was not there.

Rather than creating a best dojang when Kim has controlled them, Kreese became a Kim pastiche in the Netflix action series. Eun-Da did the same that she armed Tory. These are vicious cycles, hard inheritances and generational trauma. Kreese can break the curse after being inspired by Eun-Da. The only difference is that he does not go alive. But he is at peace with this sacrifice, because he knows that he did well by the students he considers his children.

Each episode of season 6 of Cobra Kai (so far), classified

While the Netflix series is found, Cobra Kai season 6, parts 1 and 2 have only 10 episodes in total, and there is even more to come.

It is a shame that Kreese is not there as Johnny’s baby grows. Kreese has released this grandfather of energy in his atonement. However, He made his bed and Karma cashed the check, but at least he took Terry with him. There is more irony in their end, because they were brothers in arms and soldiers in the trenches.

That said, they caused pain, death and destruction, even in their own camp. They were selfish, morally bankrupt and had no problem killing teammates. This is why, despite all their ethical violations and crimes, it is poetic that they perish together. They have fed the demons in each other, only so that their own narcissism hides them against each other. Some would say a good storage room for both. In the end, the Karate Universe ends up showing Kreese something that he only knew too much: no pity.

The six seasons of Cobra Kai are available on Netflix.
