Check out alternate versions of Clea in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness concept art, and get details on a possible alternate ending for the film

The art behind Clea
The Marvel Cinematic Universe has once again given us a look at the creative process behind Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Through conceptual art pieceswe have witnessed the multiple versions of Cleasome of which are decidedly disturbing.
This art, revealed in The Art of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madnessshows us the sorceress with an outfit worthy of a Disney princess, while other outfits make her more similar to Salem from RWBY. Jana Schirmer, a visual development artist, commented on his work: “I made so many versions of the character. For six months I simply did this! I really took a lot of inspiration from his look in the comic, which has a lot to do with those circles. “I also thought about adding natural elements, like crystals to his vest.” A curious detail is that one of the drawings shows the character as a black woman with white hair, evoking the Marvel Comics character, Storm, and another has an air very similar to that of Scarlet Witch.
The sorceress is not the only one who had alternative projects shared with the public. The same thing happened recently with Scarlet Witch and Mister Fantastic. Specifically, Wanda Maximoff’s models gave her a crown of flesh.

A twist and an alternative ending
Beyond Art, Michael Waldron, writer of the film, revealed that Scarlet Witch was originally going to be a heroine until the end. “We knew we wanted Wanda to be in the movie. Originally, it was a version where Wanda eventually turned evil. But we have changed this idea. It was always thought that this would happen in an Avengers movie. My perspective was, ‘Why let another movie have the best villain?’” Waldron shared.
Waldron also discussed a alternative ending involving the Master of the Mystic Arts and his doppelgänger, Sinister Strange. According to the film’s audio commentary, “Strange gets trapped in that universe…and then [Sinister Strange] He turns and opens his third eye.
What does the future hold?
As for Strange’s future film appearances, the third installment is said to adapt the Time is Running Out storyline. However, neither Marvel Studios nor Disney have confirmed this. What is certain is that fans will be able to enjoy the multiverse of streaming madness Disney+.
