New Report Shares Original Plan For Avengers 5 When Jonathan Majors’ Kang Was Still Involved

During San Diego Comic ConMarvel Studios has revealed it Avengers: The Kang Dynasty has been transformed into a different project, now called Avengers: Doomsday. Many fans will be wondering what the original idea was for the next film of this team of heroes, and we may already have the answer.

The Original Plan for Avengers: The Kang Dynasty

Second MyTimetoShineHellowe would see the three Spiderman be the Anchor Beings of their universes along with other heroes, such as Logan and the Ghost Rider by Nicolas Cage. The idea was for the Time Variation Authority to gather more beings to confront Kang’s Council.

“In this film, the AVT began gathering Anchor Beings from across the Multiverse, believing that they were the only ones powerful enough to defeat Kang’s Council. Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield served as the Anchors for their respective realities, while Tom Holland’s Spider-Man served as the Anchor for Earth-616.

“The film was supposed to be smaller in scope than SECRET WARS, focusing more on Holland’s Peter Parker, Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine, and other leads like Nic Cage’s Ghost Rider. The plan was for everyone to eventually fail, leading to the collapse of the Multiverse and Kang’s creation of Battleworld. This would then set the stage for SECRET WARS, where other MCU characters and additional figures from the Multiverse would converge on Battleworld.

Since this information comes from MyTimetoShineHello, you should take it with a grain of salt. However, if what is shared has any truth, it is likely that with the arrival of the Joe and Anthony Russo and new writers, the project takes a new approach.

Judgment Day will be released in theaters on May 1, 2026, while Secret Wars will arrive on May 7, 2027.
