Almost 40 years later, Transformers returns to G1 with a new version for its most hated autobot

With updated mussels based on the classic Transformers Mini-strokes, the Retro transformers Line has so far used some of the most familiar or emblematic of these disguised robots. Now, two other esoteric autobots join the fray, including the one who could be the most hated transformer of all.

Retro transformers Wheelie and Outback are two new luxury class toys in the line, one of them being a redeco of a previous Retro release. More specifically on the basis of the color palette of its generation 1, Wheelie could be the best version of the most despised self -loot. Likewise, the obscure outback finally gets its due with a new toy, with the two in Walmart this month.

The new retro transformers exceed Walmart with Wheelie and Outback

Retro transformers Wheelie is a brand new luxury class mold for the character, with the young Autobot who started almost four decades ago Transformers: the film. It was the first new mini-botto of the franchise, and in the third season of the cartoon, it essentially replaced the emblematic Autobot Bumblebee. Unfortunately, his voice nasally and the fact that he only talked about rhymes made him incredibly hated, some seeing him as a sign from the beginning of the end of the generation 1. as negative as these feelings may be, the new toy for the figure is definitely impressive, especially given the way he adapts his animation model. As in G1, Wheelie transforms a slightly childish robot into a Cybertronian racing car, with its colors specifically based on its original toy. A major change is that he now has his familiar Slingshot weapon as an accessory, with this fitting under the bottom of its vehicle mode.

Retro transformers Back is a repainting of the previous one Retro transformers Brawn Action Figure (himself a redisco of a toy of Transformers Studio Series line), just like his G1 toy was a repainting of Brawn. Outback was only briefly presented in the classic Transformers Cartoon, and he was presented in the third season after Brawn was killed in the film. As with this toy, the outback turns into a SUV and has a small blaster in robot mode, its global shape being the perfect mix between its classic toy and its animated counterpart. He and Wheelie should both be available via the Walmart Collector CON which begins on October 10, 2025, the two figures coming online for $ 24.97.
