Ahsoka’s series would feature soldiers with armor inspired by Japanese art

A new report ensures that Ahsoka, the spin-off of Star Wars, will get new stormtroopers

The report originates from Making Star Wars and says that the stormtroopers on Ahsoka will repair the cracks in their protective gear with a gold-like substance also reminiscent of kintsugi. The aesthetics of the soldiers’ armor would aim to refer to the appearance of the helmet on Kylo Ren in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, which was inspired by kintsugi. However, Lucasfilm has yet to confirm the inclusion of kintsugi-like armor on Ahsoka, so the report should be treated as speculation.

On the other hand, other rumors about the series say that concepts and characters from Star Wars Rebels will be saved. According to reports, the show will see a return world between worldsa plane introduced in Star Wars Rebelsand it would allow for the inclusion of different versions of Ahsoka in the series, as well as duels between her and her former teacher, Darth Vader.

The series premieres on Disney+ sometime in 2023.
