Agatha All Along is key to the events of the second Doctor Strange film.
The arrival of Wanda Maximoff in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is the starting point for the next program in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Kathryn Hahn returns to the MCU to reprise her role as Agatha Harkness after her stints in Scarlet Witch and Vision. The show starring Hahn finally has a trailer, which reveals that the new Marvel thing is connected to the Scarlet Witch.
In the first trailer for Agatha All Along, the main character is seen investigating the witch’s death, and while she’s at the coroner’s office, Wanda’s name starts appearing on Maximoff’s account, a magical entity. Then, Aubrey Plaza’s character Rio arrives and tells our protagonist: “That witch is gone, trapping you in her twisted spell.”
Apparently, that trailer is a reference to the events of Doctor Strange 2, a movie in which the Scarlet Witch sacrifices herself to eradicate the darkness of the entire universe. With Wanda dead, Agatha has no one to free her from her spell, but Rio tells the evil witch to have her way no matter what, and we see Agatha find her freedom.
The next MCU series will premiere its first two episodes on September 18 on Disney+.
