In operation for almost three decades, the One piece the franchise has featured numerous collaborations, especially as it has grown in popularity over the past decade. Today, the brand forms a fourth collaboration with a watch manufacturer that represents all members of Luffy’s crew.
The new One piece Tendence watches are the latest anime-based watches from the Swiss manufacturer. Each is based on a respective member of the Straw Hat crew, complete with design elements representing the pirates in question. Now available for pre-order, including for American fans, the entire set will make way for Grand Line in a few weeks.
One Piece and Tendence Reunite for New Anime Watch Collaboration
As noted, the new One piece The x Tendence watch collection includes pieces based on members of Luffy’s Straw Hat crew. These members are Luffy himself, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, Chopper, Robin, Franky, Brook and Jinbe, with the color palettes and design elements reflecting this. For example, Luffy’s has a visual based on his chest scar, while Zoro’s hands are based on his three swords. Nami’s watch resembles a compass and her arm tattoo, Usopp’s is based on her slingshot, and Sanji’s has arms based on both his eyebrows and the flames of his Devil Leg attack. Each watch also bears the straw hat symbol corresponding to the characters, with Luffy’s being the main version depicting a Jolly Roger wearing a straw hat. They are based on the “FLASH” model from Tendence, capable of illuminating the face using LEDs. There are seven different colors that can be displayed, plus an additional rainbow mode that cycles through them all.
The watches continue the character theme through special boxes also based on the characters. This includes a cleaning cloth meant to mimic the “Wanted” posters of the One piece anime and manga. THE One piece x The Tendence collection will cost 45,100 yen each, or just under $300 USD. Pre-orders are now available on the Tendence online store, while the watches are also sold internationally via Selection of Japanscheduled for release on November 28, 2025, making it a great gift idea for the holiday season. This is the fourth collaboration between Tendence and One piece, the first of these being released in 2018. Each previous collaboration has sold out quickly, so the new group of timepieces is almost certain to do the same.
