

Man of Action regains control of Ben 10 with a new vision of the Omnitrix

The first number will be written by Casey —known for his work in Superman or Space ghost– and will feature the art of Robert Careytitle artist like Outsiders Yes James Bond. The premise: a Ben Tennyson more realistic, more emotional and focused pure actionwithout losing the adventurous spirit that characterized fans of the original animated series.

“This is basically a superhero comic on the level of any major series. I call it the Ben 10 definitive. It’s the best version we’ve ever made.”
According to Dynamite, the new comic not only will revisit the origin about Ben and his discovery of the Omnitrix, but rather will recontextualize within a larger and more coherent world. The story will explore how this discovery actually affects the young protagonist’s environment, showing the social, familial and scientific repercussions which implies having in our hands an alien technology capable of altering the destiny of the planet.
The essence of Man of Action
For the creators of Man of actionthis return is almost an emotional journey. The studio, also responsible for Great hero 6was born from their passion for telling heroic stories from comics, and now it comes full circle by returning to the original format. Dynamite previously partnered with Warner Bros. Discovery to bring back animated characters like Johnny Quest or Space ghostbut the return of Ben 10 supposes the most ambitious project of this alliance. An Omnitrix more powerful than ever

However, Man of action He seems to have a clear goal: attract veteran readers without losing new ones. “We want the ones we grew up with Ben 10 they feel like this is their hero, but also that young people are discovering him for the first time,” Casey explained.
