When an unstoppable army of extra-dimensional insects known as the wave of annihilation began to decimate the stars system after the stars system, it fell to the strongest heroes of Marvel to stop it. But with a triumphant annihilus leading the swarm, the total defeat was almost certain.

The conclusion of this event also leads to the way in which the conclusion of this event leads directly to Conquest of annihilation Event, so for fans who are hungry for even more cosmic drama, this is the path to stay.
The events that occur in space are very similar to a set of dominoes: one crashes in another and in another, etc., because key players shape and reshape the whole spectrum of space. With future events such as 2009 War of kings and 2011 Infinity Everything pushing the history of the Marvel universe, it is imperative to start at the beginning of all this. Of all the space epics that occurred in Marvel, little have been as explosive and explosive as the original Annihilation event.
