Welcome to the 954th episode of revealed comic legends, a column where we examine three comic strip Myths, rumors and legends and confirm or demystify them. In this third legend of this episode of the All-X-Men, see how the age of the Apocalypse came to come in the Marvel universe in their own series a decade ago.
One of the most famous scenarios of X-Men of all time is “Days of Future Past”, which was published after John Byrne has already left the title on his complaints against Chris Claremont changing the intrigue contained in the script (since Claremont scripted the book after he was plotted and drawn, Claremont was the last person to make major changes In the end of Clarm, which did not know it “and since the Clarm did not know”. If Byrne had not left the incident of # 140, he would have almost certainly stopped after what he saw Uncanny X-Men # 142.
As I noted previously, the concept of the history of time travel was that Byrne wanted it to be a clean victory for the X-Men. The powerful Telepathe Rachel would project the spirit of the Kitty Pryde older in the body of the young Kitty Pryde which would prevent the execution of Senator Kelly, thus preventing the terrible future where the mutants are driven and murdered by the sentries.
Kitty manages to do so Uncanny X-Men # 142. This is almost certainly why he had the previous scene in # 142 (which appears on the famous cover) where Wolverine and Storm are murdered in the future – to really highlight the “Thank God to this future!” agreement.
This does not mean that the future would be automatically excellent for X-Men, just that this particularly horrible future would not occur. And that’s what Byrne shot on the culminating combat scene Uncanny X-Men # 142 …
But Claremont then added additional text to the final panel. “Allows the winds of eternity Sweep your house. “(Underline added) his future was not erased !! The main point of Byrne’s intrigue has been denied! And, of course, Claremont returned later to this dystopian reality, which was supposed to have been erased (now, note that Mark Gruenwald was great overall “you cannot change the future by going in the past, you only create a divergent chronology”, but obviously, Byrne did not plan to ignore the rules of time travel of Gruenwald.
I mention that because once this story has been revisited, it meant that almost all the alternative realities of any note were ultimately revisited, and of course, we saw almost all the notable alternative universes revisited in subsequent stories. While Jeph Loeb writes A next series returning to the adventures of the Apocaylpse X-Men eraRick Remender planned to bring the age of apocalypse characters to the Marvel universe more than a decade!

How did Rick Remender worked at the Apocalypse age in an Xcopany force?
Rick Remender’s escape series in Marvel was Strange X-ForceOn which he started with artists Jerome Opeña and Dean White. The opening arc saw X-Force arguing on the opportunity to kill a young child who was intended to be the next host of Apocalypse. Fantomex resolved the debate by killing the kid himself (he regretted it later, which was an “thing” itself). However, without heir to the apocalypse, Archangels found himself the host of the “death seed”, which slowly transformed it into the following apocalypse. The only way to save him was to obtain a “seed of life”, and the only way to get one was to return to the Age of Revelation (the alternative universe created when the Legion accidentally killed his father, Charles Xavier, in the past, before the X-Men formed, which woke up early. Xavier).
X-Force went to the Age of Apocalypse universe, and obviously it has become a scenario in itself.
However, originally, Renter wanted to do even more with the Age of Revelation X-Men!

Who were the Amazing X-Men?
Remender revealed on his social networks a few years ago that he had made a pitch for a spin-off of Strange X-Force called The Amazing X-Men This saw the Age of Revelation X-Men finding itself in the Marvel universe.
As CBR noted at the time in an article on the post:
History would have seen ghostness take the Age of the Apocalypse Versions of Jean Gray, Sunfire, Sabretooth, Banshee, Nightcrawler and the Silver Samurai to the present day; Remender underlines in his field that the idea was to use these versions to make a new X-Men team without resorting to resurrections, because many of their 616 counterparts died at the time. The book would also see team fight Apocalypse The bad guys of the era who appeared Strange X-Force.
It is a very intelligent approach, and it is similar to what happened with the old man Logan who takes the place of Wolverine during the period when Wolverine was “dead”.
Thanks to Rick Remender for the information! It looks like it would have been a cool book!
