The following contains major spoilers for Wolverine # 9, on sale on May 14 of Marvel Comics.
Wolverine’s most persistent enemies have still not understood that making it fall is simply not an option.
Wolverine # 9 finds the anti-hero titular mutant about to return to his truck and hit the road in search of his own mother lost for a long time who recently contacted his help. Unfortunately, before you can go anywhere, Wolverine calls an ambush attempt made by many agents from the armed department. Of course, it is not so unhappy for Wolverine, because it will be fine. But the successful team simply does not seem to understand that a fight with Logan is the one they will never win.

Introduced into the pages of X-Men # 109 by Chris Claremont and John Byrne in 1977, the H department is the branch of the Canadian government created specifically to monitor and supervise any superhuman activity of the country. Although Department H is the official super -hero supervisory board sanctioned in Canada, it was finally responsible for the creation and maintenance of super teams such as Alpha Flight. That said, the H department has not always been welcoming for other heroes, or even their own local champions, according to the climate of a given era.
When department H made its debut, it did it thanks to its then primary representative, James Hudson, then better known as the Alpha weapon (currently Guardian). He was sent to track down and bring Wolverine back as “government property”. Over the years, Department H has launched numerous attacks on various heroes and other super teams, while Alpha Flight and the main mission of its members have derived more and more what their government managers had exposed them. It came to a head during Fall of XWhen the Canadian government has tried to align the team with the anti-moist orchis organization, against which Alpha Flight fought every turn possible.

Ultimate Spider-Man is incredible, but the news of the original author make us ask us what could have been
The new ultimate universe of Marvel could have gone into entirely different directions if his original writer had not passed the torch to Jonathan Hickman.
The return of Wolverine’s mother, Elizabeth Howlett (formerly Hudson) was tightened during the oversized Wolverine # 8 (# 400 by the numbering system inherited from Marvel Comics). After having faced many bad guys going from the former Romulus to the cheerfully deadly arcade, Wolverine finally found himself over time for a well -necessary respite. This was interrupted with the arrival of a mysterious letter apparently written by Elizabeth, which apparently followed his life in 2001 Wolverine: Origin # 3 by Paul Jenkins, Bill Jemas, Joe Quesada and Andy Kubert. Since then, some minor revelations concerning the Hudson family tree have been made, but none which never indicated that Elizabeth had somehow survived in modern times.
Wolverine # 9 will be available on May 14 at Marvel Comics.
