A new report revealed that the producers have rejected Amazon’s request to create spin-offs centered series on two favorite fans’ characters: Miss Moneypenny and Felix Leiter.

According to The Hollywood Reporter,, Amazon approached Broccoli and Wilson with a field for a television series based on the secretary of the Mi6 Moneypenny, as well as for a friend of the Bond CIA, Felix Leiter. However, the producers were not interested. “We are just trying to focus on taking good photos, and it takes time, it takes a few years,” Wilson said in an interview shortly after the announcement of MGM’s sale in Amazon. “Put all this energy to make 10 or 20 hours of a television program is a great commitment. We must delegate to do so. And we were very reluctant to delegate.” Add broccoli, “This is not something we ever wanted to do.” With broccoli and Wilson have since gave in creative control of James Bond For Amazon, it remains to be seen if the streamer will revive these potential benefits.
