The men are based at one of NASA’s training camps and hope to be selected to be part of the groups that will travel to the Moon. However, all men are deeply flawed and have little interest in space.

For example, Professor Scott Sloan wanted to spread the gospel across the universe, and Michael Henai only got the job because of nepotism. The series also stars Travis Kelce, who does a great job portraying a typical celebrity ambassador. Lunar Base 8 is not exactly a sci-fi comedy and often resembles other classic sitcoms such as The office Or Parks and Recreation.
