Media outlet World of Reel assures that The Old Guard sequel will have additional filming, noting that filming will likely begin in the summer. If this information turns out to be true, the film won’t be released anytime soon.

Months ago a report of What’s on Netflix which indicated that the production would undergo additional filming in October 2024. It is still unclear what is happening with this film, as filming for the Netflix sequel began in June 2022 and concluded in September of the same year .
