According to The Hollywood Reporter, Rory McCann will play Baylan Skoll in the next season of Ashoka. Shortly after the outlet shared this information, reporter Jeff Sneider confirmed the news about McCann’s casting. The 55-year-old Scottish actor is known for giving life to The dog in the program HBO Game of Thrones.

In the first season of the Star Wars series, Baylan Skoll was performed by Ray Stevenson. However, Stevenson died on May 21, 2023 at the age of 58.

Ashoka season 2 does not have a release date yet.
