The Kraven director hopes fans will give his film a chance

The director of the film The requirements, JC Chandoris aware that the Spider-Man universe Sony He made many mistakes and that’s why he promises that his film will be different.

Chandor knows that many fans are angry with Sony

During an interview with ComicBook, Chandor said he hopes fans give his film a chance despite the strange decisions Sony has made with its Spider-Man universe.

“I don’t want to go into details, but this is what I would say: for me, as a director, my main goal, especially, frankly, in the last few years when you guys are immersed in this world… some fans, a lot of fans, they were upset by certain decisions and certain outcomes [del Universo Spider-Man de Sony]. Then, with other films, they had resounding success. So there has been a mixed success rate. People need to give us a chance, come out and support this movie, and literally try to erase some of the other things that have happened. Give our film a chance.”

“And I think you’ll find that we’ve done everything we can to give you a really entertaining story. You’ll see when the movie ends that there’s potential for a lot of things to happen. But my goal was to isolate our film, protect it, and just tell a good story. And then we’ll have the opportunity to do a lot of fun things.”

Chandor’s statements seem to indicate that they are already seeing that Kraven will likely be Sony’s new failure. On the other hand, the director also confirmed that his film will be quite isolated from the other productions of this universe.

Kraven the Hunter hits theaters on December 13, 2024.
